AEOLOS 150 AD-CMOS
Highest transmission wide angle hemispherical energy analyzer with 60° accepetance angle, and AD-CMOS detector for photoelectron spectroscopy measurements (XPS and UPS) and angular resolved studies (ARXPS) in the pressure regime from UHV to near ambient pressure (NAP upgradable). With this analyzer NAP-HAXPES measurements up to 10 keV can be performed.
The AEOLOS 150 AD-CMOS Analyzer is a true 180° hemispherical energy analyzer with 150 mm mean radius. Its compact design is especially optimized for highest transmission and small excitation spots.
Its special wide angle lens with an acceptance angle of 60° to efficiently cover the relevant wide angular range for angular resolved XPS. With an AD-CMOS detector the AEOLOS 150 shows outstanding performance in count rates, linearity and a true pulse counting mechanism. Merging the key functions of the market leading PHOIBOS 150 HV, WAL and NAP analyzers, the AEOLOS 150 combines the best aspects of the current technology such as flexibility and outstanding performance with new demands on wide angle analysis, compactness and interoperability. Hence, it can be used without compromises for XPS, HAXPES, ARXPS and magnification mode (slab imaging).
This analyzer is designed to allow measurements in variable atmosphere from UHV to near ambient pressure (100 mbar), and switching from UHV to NAP conditions is easily done without breaking the vacuum. The acceptance angle in NAP conditions is reduced to 44°.
