Duoplasmatron Discharge Light Source with Quartz Capillary
A new generation of the UVS 300 has been released, the µSIRIUS Small Spot. The UVS 300 is a now a legacy product with full techncial support.
The UVS 300 is a real and unique duoplasmatron type discharge VUV light source. The discharge spot is confined to a small area, which makes this source the only available point source on the market. The dispersive quartz capillary is optimal for illuminating large areas on the surface to acess UPS and APRES from medium and large samples. The UVS 300 is compatible with the TMM 304 UV monochromator. The duoplasmatron design allows emission from very low gas pressure, yielding in the highest available He I to He II emission intensity ratio.
