SPIG

You are cordially invited to participate in the 30th Summer School and International Symposium on the Physics of Ionized Gases (SPIG 2020) to be held in Šabac, Serbia, August 24-28, 2020.

The SPIG conference follows a longtime tradition initiated almost 60 years ago. The conference covers a wide range of topics from fundamental studies to applications of ionized gases. The 30th SPIG is organized jointly by the Faculty of Mathematics (Department of Astronomy), Institute of Physisc, University of Belgrade and Astronomical Observatory of Belgrade.

Special Session "Atomic Collisions in Plasmas" will be held in honor of Ratko Janev
(In Memoriam).

Three workshops will be associated to the conference:

• The 4th workshop on X-ray and VUV Interaction with Biomolecules in Gas Phase (4th XiBiGP), organized in collaboration with the SOLEIL synchrotron (France);
• 1st Belgrade Fusion Science and Technology Workshop (BegFuST).
• The 2020 Virtual Atomic and Molecular Data Centre (VAMDC) Consortium Workshop.
