Biosurf 2019

Ile de Porquerolles, France

Medical devices (biomaterials, Implantable devices), biopuces, lab-on-a-chip, biosreers and nanomaterials are exploited in a wide range of applications ranging from medical to environmental analysis and food control (determination of GMOs, mycotoxins, pathogens...). The bio-engineering of the interfaces therefore aims to master the physico-chemical properties of the interfaces of the materials in order to control their furtivities and their specificities. Moreover, the classical curricula offered in our universities or our major schools, even in double curricula, do not cover the multidisciplinary aspect that we wish to address through this thematic school.

The purpose of this school is to be a place of Exchange. Each participant will have the opportunity to present a poster on his research activities during reserved moments arranged and will be able to exchange with the speakers and all participants during the week. During the week an afternoon will be free of course.

The thematic school is organized at the IGESA Centre based on the island of Porquerolles, accessible by ferry from the Giens peninsula.
