Science meets Neighbors

Senator for Economic Affairs and Public Enterprises Franziska Giffey visited the Technologiepark Humboldthain (TPH) network of companies on January 28, 2026, together with State Secretary for Construction Alexander Slotty, Members of the Berlin House of Representatives and the District Assembly Dr. Maja Lasic, Matthias Schulz, and Erik Haase, as well as representatives of various SPD district associations, for a political exchange.
We were particularly pleased that, in addition to the political representatives and TPH members, company representatives from Siemens Energy, Berliner Wasserbetriebe, BEHALA, and other enterprises joined the discussion, making it both lively and focused.

The meeting took place at our premises, SPECS Surface Nano Analysis GmbH in Berlin, which provided the opportunity during a concluding company tour to offer insights into the development, production, and application of modern surface analysis instruments in the heart of Berlin.
